Course Overview
This qualification will be ideal for individuals who wish to work in community and/or residential settings. The program is curated to help students implement personalized plans to offer person-centered assistance to people who may need support due to aging, disability, or other circumstances.
Therefore workers are encouraged to assume responsibility and exercise discretion and judgment when providing support.
The course will cover a variety of factual, technical and procedural knowledge along with an essential understanding of Individual Support to pursue a career as a Care assistant, Disability support worker, Home care assistant, Field officer, Nursing assistant, etc.
